HELPFUL HINTS FOR DAY OF FITTING

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN TAKE YOUR OLD FLOORING UP AND AWAY, FOR A SMALL CHARGE. GENERALLY 75% OF THE FITTING PRICE, WE ALSO OFFER A TAKE UP ONLY SERVICE, THE CHARGE FOR THIS IS AROUND 50% OF THE FITTERS PRICE. BUT THIS CAN CHANGE, DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF WORK INVOLVED ETC. THE PAYMENT MUST BE MADE TO THE TAKE UP FITTER ON THE DAY, COMPLETELY SEPERATE FROM MAZE CARPETS AND THE FLOOR FITTERS.

BEDROOM - Don’t worry if a bed has to be left in the room, please remove the mattress,

LIVING ROOMS - If it’s too difficult to remove the settee, we can normally move it around the room,

KITCHEN - As a general rule Vinyl is fitted by placing it just under any appliance. PLEASE NOTE that we will not move or unplumb any appliance, a gas safety engineer is the only person legally allowed to re-fit a gas cooker, and we would recommend a plummer for washing machines. Please note that if we fit new vinyl on top of old vinyl a sweating process can take place, resulting in a discolouration of the new flooring.

WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSABLE FOR ANY LEAKS RESULTING IN THE FITTING OF YOUR NEW FLOORING, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT APPLIANCES ARE REMOVED AND THEN RE-FITTED BY A QUALIFIED PERSON,

The fitting, or take up charge cannot be processed through Maze Carpets. Fitters must be paid seperately.
